I recently had a chance to go back to Phoenix and that trip included a visit to the famous Pizzeria Bianco, the inspiration for our backyard oven in Texas.
We were thrilled to be able to chat with Chris Bianco over in the bar. Even though he's not making the pizzas anymore, due to his asthma problems, the place is still pretty special. The pizzas are as good as always... the one change is that, arriving at 6 PM on a Wednesday, we didn't have to wait for a table (for the first time ever... for us.
